  • Gerry Weir

    Alternate Broker of Record/Owner

    In 1991 Gerry had a vision of opening a brokerage where in each member of his sales team can have their own unique identity while taking advantage of trusted nationally recognized branding.  November 1 1991 Gerry opened the very first Sutton Franchise in London Ontario.  In 2013 Gerry had another vision of creating Mini-Franchises, which allow Brokers to capitalize on owning their own Brokerage, which gives them all the perks of owning, and creating an investment and an asset while having our management and administrative team look after the day-to- day operation.  Serving as President of LSTAR in 1999, President of OREA in 2008, Director of CREA from 2010-2014 and owning his own Accounting practice for 12 years prior to opening his own Brokerage is a testament to the leadership skills, experience and knowledge that he has to offer and it has proven to be invaluable in building and operating his real estate brokerage office since 1991.

  • Lori Payne

    Administrative Office Manager

    Lori has been with Sutton Group Preferred since opening day, November 1991. Lori is a part of our Management Team; looks after all RECO matters, processes payroll, incoming sales and looks after all of the day-to- day operations on behalf of the brokerage.  Lori also manages the full day-to-day operations of the 5 Mini Franchise Brokerages that are under our management.  With her several years of experience in the real estate industry and having worked in each and every department within the Brokerage makes her our go-to-person for just about everything.

  • Ken Payne

    Ken was born and raised in Byron/London, has lived in Dorchester since 1999 and has been a member of our Sutton Family since 1995.  Ken obtained his Real Estate Sales Representative license in 2009, his Broker license in 2011 and Broker of Record in 2020.  Since 2011 Ken has worked hand-in-hand with Gerry and manages our brokerage and Sutton Family Teams.  Being a certified Brian Buffini Mentor and completing the Leader’s Edge Training, Ken facilitates all of our training to our sales team.

  • Hope Harms

    Sales Administrator

    Hope has been with Sutton Group Preferred since 2010.  Prior to joining Sutton Group Preferred Hope worked for a real estate law firm over a 10 year period.  Hope is a huge asset to our Back office and is an impeccable Sales Administrator looking after and processing all sales transactions to the lawyers, updating sales on the MLS system and preparing all sales for a successful closing.

  • Jamie Potter

    Jamie joined our Sutton Family the summer of 2022 and we feel extremely blessed to have her join our Sutton Family.  Jamie is our Front Office Administrator overseeing the daily operations of our Front Reception area, processes all listing and graphic requests, and assists our Administration Department with processing all deposits.  Jamie has several years experience in customer service and is an extremely friendly and lovely soul.   If you call our office or visit our office, you will be sure to always be greeted with a smile and friendly voice.

     

  • Jolin Payne

    Administrative Sales Assistant

    Jolin received an honours double major in Criminology and Thanatology from King’s Western University June 2023.  September 2023 Jolin started at Althouse Western University Faculty of Education to pursue her passion of education and become a Primary/Junior Teacher fall of 2025.  Jolin started with Sutton Group Preferred in January 2018 as a part time Front Support Staff member and is now assisting the Sales Administration Team with back office operations of the 5 mini franchise brokerages that are under our brokerage management.

    Norm has been with Sutton Group Preferred since 2000.  Our real estate team often draws on his over 50 years experience.

  • Linda Flannery

    Linda Flannery

    Retired after 26 years with our Sutton Family December 31 2022

    After 40+ years working as a Front Support Staff Member at Real Estate Brokerages and 26 of those years as valued member of our Sutton Family, Linda Flannery has retired effective December 31 2022.  Linda will ALWAYS be a part of our Sutton Family.

  • Cathy Combs

    June 25 2001 - October 11 2018

    After a 10 month battle with cancer, our Sutton Group Team lost a family member.  Not only was Cathy the best Sales Administrator in the Industry for 34 years, she was a very dear friend and truly indispensable.  She was simply the best and will be missed beyond words.

  • Joan Stoner

    Retired September 17 2021

    After an accumulated 15 years with Sutton Group Preferred, Joan has retired from being one of our Support Staff Members.  Joan will always be a part of our Sutton Family.
