It has been nearly a month since we completed the sale of our home, and we couldn’t be more delighted with our new accommodations. We are beginning to win the battle of the boxes, and our new house is gradually feeling more and more like home.

 

I wanted to write you a note to express how happy Jen and I were with your services. The sale of your home can be a very stressful time in your life. You are full questions – what is our house worth? Will we be able to get our asking price? Will we sell in time to take possession of our new home? When should we list? With whom should we list? And the Realtor’s favourite – should we sell it on our own?! You took those anxieties away.

 

When choosing to conduct business with anyone, instincts and first impressions carry a lot of weight in the decision making process. When we first met, your calming presence allowed us to relax, and begin to understand the process that we were about to undertake. Your honest, professional, gentlemanly approach sets you apart from the stereotypical image of realtors. Shortly after listing our home with your brokerage, I was listening to another person in your industry speak, and I remembering thinking, thank goodness we were referred to Ty!

 

During the time between listing and closing, your regular contact with us provided us with the updates that we needed. Your e-services allowed us to have instant feedback on the process; allowing us to gauge the interest in our home, send you a message, and see the avenues you were marketing our home through. You kept us abreast of any developments that we needed to know about, and you were responsive to our needs. You turned a stressful process into a comfortable, enjoyable experience.

I just wanted to take the time to share a bit about our experience with doing business with your team. You came recommended to us through a friend at work that you had helped previously. This individual was excited to point us in your direction, as he was so pleased with his experience with your team. Now that we are settled into our new home, we can easily relate.Our mission was to sell our home in Ancaster and purchase a new home in the Woodstock area. Your team agreed to help us with this no matter how long it took. Clearly, you were true to your word as it took nearly 2 years to complete this mission.

In that time, we viewed countless homes and made 3 attempts at properties of choice. Although we were not successful in 2 of our 3 attempts, I feel your team worked to put us in the best position possible for success. We found the experience of your team very well rounded. We had Sheri who would be able to help us through a new build purchase should we have decided to go that route. We had Terry with his vast knowledge of construction, building code, mechanical systems and real estate as a whole. It was always so reassuring to have you around Terry to ensure no stone was unturned with the properties in which we showed strong interest. It was like having a top-notch home inspector with you all the time. Joy was able to help us with information and perspectives on certain areas and communities throughout Oxford County. Every member of this power ball real-estate team is a wizard in their craft and I’m sure the team will now only be strengthened with Terry JR. learning the ropes.He will make an excellent 4^th member as he has great mentors and also shares the name Beckett. The bottom line is your team is very easy and pleasant to work with. Every transaction was seamless and you all did so much to ensure this was a positive experience for us. We felt that your team went above and beyond the normal duties of regular agents for us. One example of many, would be the fact that you would offer to take care of our little Nora for us when our attention was needed to complete things like a home inspection. Sheri, you truly are the baby whisperer. We were also impressed with how you would always personally sit down with a seller to present an offer on our behalf. That personal touch can do so much. We felt that your team worked with a strong moral backbone and that you valued what was right above all. This made us very comfortable and we felt that we could trust you. Trust,has got to be one of the most important things when you are making such a large purchase. In addition, the support you continue to offer after the completion of this transaction has been great. Technically your responsibilities ended with us getting our keys but clearly, that is not how your team works. It’s nice to have you check in as you have to make sure all is good with us and our new home. Since we have moved in, we have met some of our neighbors and have made some new friends as a result. It is becoming clear that Sweaburg is indeed a close nit neighborhood and people seem to look out for each other here.We are happy to be in a safe and friendly place for Nora to grow up.
