In our past experiences of working with various real estate agents  we have been consistently disappointed with what appeared to be a lack of care and attention to detail that you would expect from somebody handling such a large transaction on your behalf.  When buying with others, we felt that we were doing most of the legwork and when selling a property it felt like there was little guidance behind the pricing that was set and no selling strategy whatsoever.  As a result, we had never used the same individual more than once as we continued to search for the right partner with each new real estate transaction.

We knew that we had found a different kind of team from the first time the Becketts stepped into the home we were planning on selling.  Opening every drawer, looking at every aspect of the house, taking pictures and making notes…it was clear they were prepared to do their homework.  After the initial viewing of the home we met for several hours reviewing the incredible amount of data they have available to them to set an appropriate selling price based on historical figures, the inventory currently being offered in the market, and the optimal price range for our target customer.  There was no doubt about the reasonable selling range we could expect based on all of the information made available to us.  We determined a price that was above our initial estimate and received multiple offers which allowed us to sell above our asking price along with tactical guidance from Team Beckett on how to handle each offer.  We have no doubt that based on the initial feedback of other real estate agents we had talked to that we would have left at least $50,000 (12%) on the table had we not proceeded with the Becketts.

Team Beckett also took care to walk us through all potential safety, legal and procedural matters so that we had full confidence that we wouldn’t be met with any surprises.  They even returned a small portion of the commission that was not spent on the anticipated marketing costs which resulted in them being one of the most competitive agents we have worked with!

We will no longer use anybody else and will insist that those we care about call Team Beckett before listing or looking for a home in Oxford County.

When we decided to list our house we had a number of realtors come through and we mostly talked about pricing and closing dates.  When we opted to contact Marianne she came in and talked more about who she thought would want to buy our house.  She also suggested some changes to stage the house to that demographic.  At first we were a little overwhelmed but started taking each room and staging it and ended up really liking it and could clearly see the improvement-hard when you have lived in a house for 27 years to see it through other eyes.  She was patient, helpful, encouraging, confident and always available when we had questions.  We never anticipated selling so quickly even though Marianne was confident that it would sell quickly.  We sold to the exact demographic Marianne had said in the beginning.  She clearly knows what she is doing and would highly recommend her to anyone looking to sell.  She really does work for your best interests!

I just wanted to take the time to share a bit about our experience with doing business with your team. You came recommended to us through a friend at work that you had helped previously. This individual was excited to point us in your direction, as he was so pleased with his experience with your team. Now that we are settled into our new home, we can easily relate.Our mission was to sell our home in Ancaster and purchase a new home in the Woodstock area. Your team agreed to help us with this no matter how long it took. Clearly, you were true to your word as it took nearly 2 years to complete this mission.

It was like having a top-notch home inspector with you all the time. Joy was able to help us with information and perspectives on certain areas and communities throughout Oxford County. Every member of this power ball real-estate team is a wizard in their craft and I’m sure the team will now only be strengthened with Terry JR. learning the ropes.He will make an excellent 4^th member as he has great mentors and also shares the name Beckett. The bottom line is your team is very easy and pleasant to work with. Every transaction was seamless and you all did so much to ensure this was a positive experience for us. We felt that your team went above and beyond the normal duties of regular agents for us. One example of many, would be the fact that you would offer to take care of our little Nora for us when our attention was needed to complete things like a home inspection. Sheri, you truly are the baby whisperer. We were also impressed with how you would always personally sit down with a seller to present an offer on our behalf. That personal touch can do so much. We felt that your team worked with a strong moral backbone and that you valued what was right above all. This made us very comfortable and we felt that we could trust you. Trust,has got to be one of the most important things when you are making such a large purchase. In addition, the support you continue to offer after the completion of this transaction has been great. Technically your responsibilities ended with us getting our keys but clearly, that is not how your team works. It’s nice to have you check in as you have to make sure all is good with us and our new home.
